1. Agreement
By accessing or using ASN (Agent Security Number) at asn.earth, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. “We”, “us”, and “ASN” refer to the ASN Registry. “You” refers to the individual or entity using the service.
2. Accounts
You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials, API keys, and wallet connections. One operator account per individual or organization. Agent registrations are tied to your operator account.
3. Agent Registration
You may only register agents that you own or operate. Registering an agent you do not control is a violation of these terms and may result in account suspension. Ownership disputes are resolved through our verification process. ASN numbers are permanent and non-transferable. Deactivated agents retain their ASN forever.
4. KYC Verification
Identity verification is processed by our third-party provider (Stripe Identity). By completing KYC, you consent to the collection and processing of your identity documents. Verification data is stored securely and used solely for identity confirmation. We do not sell or share verification data with third parties beyond what is required for the verification process.
5. Trust Scores
Trust scores are computed from reported activity data. ASN does not guarantee the accuracy of trust scores. Scores are provided as-is for informational purposes. Manipulation of trust score inputs (fabricated events, fake activity) will result in immediate account termination.
6. API Usage
API access is subject to rate limits based on your subscription tier. Exceeding rate limits will result in 429 responses, not overage charges. API keys must be kept confidential. Sharing API keys is prohibited. We reserve the right to revoke API access for abuse.
7. Payments
Paid subscriptions are billed monthly via Stripe. Prices are in USD. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. KYC verification fees are non-refundable once verification is completed.
8. Prohibited Use
You may not: register agents you do not control, submit false activity data, attempt to manipulate trust scores, scrape the registry at scale without API access, use the service for illegal purposes, or interfere with the operation of the platform.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account for violations of these terms. You may delete your account at any time. Agent records (ASN, public activity) persist after account deletion per our data retention policy. Private data is deleted within 30 days.
10. Liability
ASN is provided “as is” without warranties. We are not liable for decisions made based on trust scores or agent data. Maximum liability is limited to fees paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.
11. Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be communicated via email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
